Graphic stylization for numerous mini-projects

 

Background: The book “The Great Gatsby” is written by American author F. Scott Fitzgerald about a mysterious millionaire Jay Gatsby who was fond of the beautiful refined debutante Daisy Buchanan. The story setting was centered around wealth, social politics, passion, romance, conflict and betrayal. Rationale: This design is inspired by the 1974 movie atmosphere of parties, classy ballrooms, and also the history behind art deco motifs. The cover represents the story in the perspective of Jay Gatsby, the protagonist. Stylization: Art Deco style consist of obvious gradient tones, refined lines, and some with a slight vintage or modern feel representing the golden age in the 1930s.

 

Background: Sport Hunting. A unnecessary leisure activity that inflicts pain and sufferings upon wild animals. These animals are hunted for the sole purpose of providing hunters a 'trophy'. Although the government has taken action as to protect wildlife animals, but what about for-profit hunting reserves or game ranches? Rationale: A portrayal of feeling restrained and trapped despite living in their habitat due to Sport Hunting; regarded as a rereational activity Stylization: Head of the deer realistically drawn to symbolize the smallest glimpse of life left of the injured.

 

Background: Fruits are a daily staple to our lives. More often than not, people chase after 'instal-worthy' photos which contains plenty of artificial sugar. The over consumption of these chemically sweetened product may lead to the loss of fluids in the body.

Rationale: Aims to bring out curiosity among individuals with fruits portrayed in an unusual manner.

Stylization: Use of brush strokes and pointillism
